8A - adding and subtracting integer quiz returned - some students need to review  + a negative and - a positive decrease the number and you move left on the number line. 

8A math - integer rules provided - booklet - working on page 2 - multiplying and dividing

8A - geography - 3 mini paragraphs due tomorrow - some are past due from 2 weeks ago. 

8A - French poster finish for homework. 

Boys - assigned 2nd book in the series - Truth and Lies - read to the end of chapter 8 for Friday. 

8A - reading lab - 4 booklets need to be completed this week. 

8A - Orange Shirt Day assignment - presentations will begin next week as groups finish.

8A - short story and poetry writing contest - rough copy due Nov. 12th

Hawks Assembly on Friday at 9:15. 8A recipients: Tayah for her leadership in the class and on the volleyball team.  Amey and Meghan for their academic excellence. 8B recipients are Amar Aggarwal, Samsher Dhillon, Daniela Pozzobon, Nathan Watt for the excellent start they have had academically in the classroom, and the leadership, work ethic, and focus they have demonstrated both in and out of the class. Parents are welcomed to join the celebration.
