April 6th

Good morning. Homework has been posted on google classroom. If you are struggling to get on, let me know. john.tovey@yrdsb.ca

A couple bonus mark questions. Email me your answers.

1. Why do we rake lawns in the spring? (I hope this is something you have done to help out around home. I have completed my lawn and my mom's.)

I have been looking over the book- The Scoop on Poop. We are going to continue to learn about poop.
2. How do dung beetles use fresh poop? There are 3 ways they access it. What are they? Why do dung beetles lay eggs in poop? You  might be interested to know that the male 'roller' dung beetle rolls a large ball of dung, larger than himself, when he is looking for a female. When he finds one, she usually rides on top of the ball of poop until they find a place to honeymoon! Who needs a car!
